Maxwelton Creek Cohousing is a multigenerational intentional cohousing community located on south Whidbey Island among cedars, meadows, and a creek. We are eight households of individually constructed homes, many of them strawbale, on ⅓-¼ acre lots surrounding a circle "green" within the larger 20-acre commonly-held land. MCC seeks to nurture personal, social and environmental wellbeing through caring for one another, our communities, and our land. We make decisions using the Advice Process, delegating most decisions to committees rather than the full group.
