Nörd Commons is a forming cohousing community in the Twin Cities metro, created by people who want more than just a house—they want real connection. We envision privately owned homes thoughtfully clustered around shared green space and a welcoming common house, designed to support both meaningful relationships and personal privacy.
This is a professionally led development. Our community is supported by an established Community Coordinator to keep membership strong and engaged, alongside nationally recognized cohousing consultant Katie McCamant. Development is guided by Urban Development + Partners (UD+P), ensuring the project stays financially sound and on track. Architectural design will be led by Bryan Bowen of Caddis Architects, bringing deep cohousing experience to the site and home design.
We are still shaping who we will become—and that’s part of the invitation. Nörd Commons is for those who want to help co-create a neighborhood rooted in mutual support, shared responsibility, and everyday connection. If you’re curious about living more intentionally and building community from the ground up, we’d love to explore it with you.
