Evans Oaks Cottages

Evans Oaks is an intentional community of private homes clustered around shared space. Each single family home has traditional amenities, including a private kitchen and small yard area. Our shared spaces feature a common house, which includes a small residential-type kitchen, dining area, gathering spaces, and guest quarters.
We also have a workshop and garages with personal storage at both ends of the property. Shared outdoor space includes parking, walkways, open space, and gardens. Community members also share resources like tools, books, and recreational equipment. Each household lives independently, but neighbors collaboratively plan and manage community activities and shared spaces.
We completed construction and all 11 households moved into our lovely new homes in November/December 2020. Our community is now full. We are not starting a wait list at this time as we are enjoying the process of deepening our relationships and continuing work on our physical spaces.
