Description
Founded in April 2019, the Bozeman Cohousing brought cohousing to Montana. We started moving into our community in the summer of 2022. The community is focused on environmental sustainability, with our energy use designed to be fully offset by solar power and our land hosting a variety of cottage agriculture projects. A unique feature of the design is that the wings of our common house and eight homes open on an atrium and we flood our common green in winter to make an ice skating rink. Like many in Southwest Montana, many of our members love to hike, ski, camp, fish, hunt, bike, raft, etc. which we often do together.
