We are forming Indigosoul, a multi-generational cohousing village and agrihood with 25-30 homes and a small farm about 30 minutes west of Houston. The farm will be managed by professionals who will provide fresh organically and sustainable produced food in exchange for community support. We have not yet found our agricultural community and are looking for others who are supportive of our vision. We also have contracts with a cohousing architectural team and a cohousing development consultant. We are planning a community that reflects our shared values of respect for the land and each other, accessible homes, and diversity in our community members. Our Core Group will start meeting weekly, having both virtual and in-person gatherings, and reading/discussion groups. We anticipate a sustainable, eco-friendly agrihood village with clustered homes, trails, a common house, and several acres of orchards, vegetables & fruit, including blueberries, grapes Asian pears, and more!
