Description

Courtenay Cohousing is a forming multigenerational community in the Comox Valley, drawing members from all over BC, and beyond. We’re a group of people who value fun, connection, sustainability, and personal growth — and we’re building a community of 18 homes within easy biking distance of downtown Courtenay. We aim to co-create a vibrant, inclusive neighbourhood where people of all ages and backgrounds can thrive in both privacy and connection.

Located on a beautiful 2.5 acre site in Courtenay on Vancouver Island, BC:
✔ 20-minute walk / 5-minute bike to downtown / playground and woods adjacent
✔ Mix of housing types: single-detached, duplexes, and single-level homes
✔ Designed for singles, couples, families, and chosen households
✔ Aging-in-place options

In addition to a shared pond conservation area, we’re building a common house with:
● Large kitchen and dining/ multi-purpose space
● Sauna, lounge, kids/craft room, workbench, covered patio
● Guest rooms
